What a treat for me to be invited to an assisted living facility in Largo FL to talk to residents about buttons! I covered the history of buttons, the hobby of button collecting and shared trays of different buttons for them to look at. The day ended with a holiday button craft with some lovely and fun residents. I am delighted that I have a couple of more retirement homes to visit in January!
