Quite a few of the visitors to our Vintage Buttons table had fun putting on our "Queen of Buttons" crown and taking a selfie. Actually we volunteered to take their photos with their phone cameras. It was a good day and we may have recruited a few new group members!

Sometimes it's hard to get attention at an event. It is often not enough to just set up a table and try to draw potential button lovers to you. To create some fun at an upcoming "History Day" I transformed a couple of Burger King crowns into photo opportunities as "Button Queen" and "Button King" for event-goers. A guest can either take a selfie or have one of our members take a photo of him or her or both.   I lucked upon this pretty blue frame with gold trimming in a thrift store not long ago. It turned out to be the perfect way to make some of my lovely blue buttons pop!  |
